The undershelf shall have three holes of such size and spacing to accommodate two 1/2 inch diameter water supply lines (hot and cold water) leading to the sink mounted combination valve and spout. One 1-1/2 inch diameter waste line shall be die stamped in the under shelf in proper alignment with the installed sink. The table top shall be fabricated of 300 stainless steel with a thickness of 14 gauge (minimum) and turned down no drip edges. The table top shall have a 4 inch (minimum) turned up backsplash with turned back edges. The tabletop and undershelf shall be polished to a number 3 finish or better and shall be reinforced with 14 gauge (minimum) corrosion resistant steel structural members secured to the underside to ensure a level sound deadened working surface. Tables shall be designed to receive attachments to support an overhead utensil rack. Table legs shall be a minimum of 1-5/8 inch diameter, 16 gauge (minimum) 300 series stainless steel tubing and shall be equipped with 1 inch adjustable stainless steel bullet feet. Legs shall be capable of being disassembled for ease of shipping. Tables shall be equipped with six legs. Leg brace tubing shall be minimum 1-1/2 inch outer diameter O.D. stainless steel. Fasteners shall be fabricated from stainless steel.
2. 1.2 Sink. The sink shall be 19 inches long ± 1 inch, 15 inches wide ± 1 inch, and 8 Inches deep ± 1 inch. The sink shall be fabricated of 14 gauge (minimum) 300 Series stainless steel and shall be assembled to the table top with a continuous weld. The sink shall be polished smooth to a number 3 finish or better. The sink shall be located 5 inches from the specified side and shall have coved corners. The sink shall be equipped with a splash mounted gooseneck faucet with a 3-1/2 inch basket strainer and drain with a lever type shutoff and shall have a 1-1/2 inch diameter tail pipe, 3-1/2 inches long. The sink faucet shall be equipped with lever type handles. The underside shall be fabricated in such a manner to deaden the sound.
2. 1.3 Load and lateral force requirements. The table with sink shall support a 400 pound load when tested in accordance with 3.4.1. The table with sink shall be capable of resisting a static force of 100 pounds when tested in accordance with 3.4.2.
2.2 Codes and standards. Tables shall conform with requirements of National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard No. 2.
2.3 Identification marking (Government unique requirements, see 5.4). Each table shall have the manufacturer’s name, contract number, and national stock number embossed or engraved on the underside of the table top. Use of “stick-on” or removable labels is prohibited.
3. QUALITY ASSURANCE
3.1 Certification. The contractor shall certify, and maintain substantiating evidence, that the product offered meets the salient characteristics and requirements of this Commercial Item Description, and that the product conforms to the producer’s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance
