4.2 Commercial packaging and packing. Each cabinet shall be preserved, packaged and packed in accordance with ASTM 3951.
4.3 Export packaging. Each cabinet shall be preserved and cushioned to protect against corrosion, deterioration and physical damage during shipment and storage. The removable casters shall be packaged in a snug-fitting fiberboard box. The box shall be securely closed and secured within the cabinet.
4.3.1 Export packing. Each cabinet shall be packed in a cleated plywood box conforming to PPP-B-601. Each box shall be closed and strapped in accordance with PPP-601.
4.4 Marking (commercial and export). Marking of unit pack and shipping container shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
5. NOTES
5.1 Intended use. The dough-proofing cabinets are intended for use in bakeries, central pastry kitchens, and dining facilities kitchens for pannery proofing of yeast raised molded dough pieces prior to being loaded into the oven for baking.
5.2 Ordering data. Acquisition documents should specify the following:
a. Title, number, and date of this document.
b. Electrical characteristics of humidifier, of other than specified (see 2.2).
c. Type of packaging and packing required (see 4.1).
5.3 CID based part identification number. The following part identification numbering procedure is for Government purposes and does not constitute a requirement for the contractor:

52121- CID number. Do not include the revision letter or activity symbol.
A-A- Indicates a commercial item description.
5.4 Supersession data. The 18-pen dough-proofing cabinet was previously available from Federal Specification W-C-20.
