4.4 Marking (commercial and export). Interior boxes and shipping containers shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
5. NOTES
5.1 Intended use. The vegetable peeling machine covered by this commercial item description are intended for use in kitchens for peeling vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and turnips.
5.2 Acquisition requirements. Acquisition documents must specify the following:
a. Title, number, and date of this commercial item description.
b. PIN designating style and size required (see 1.1, 1.2, and 5.4).
c. Whether a timer is required (see 2.1).
d. Whether a waste disposer is required (2.1.2).
e. Electrical requirements if other than specified (2.1.3).
f. Whether a power cord is required (see 2.1.4).
g. Government approved manual number to be included on data nameplate (see 2.4).
h. Selection of applicable packaging and packing required (see 4.1).
